How To: Schedule Automatic Birthday Wishes for Your Facebook Friends

Schedule Automatic Birthday Wishes for Your Facebook Friends

If you have a lot of friends on Facebook, chances are that every day is at least one of their birthdays. If you took the time to individually post a message every time, you'd spend ALL of your time on Facebook, but you don't want to be a bad friend either. Let's face it, some people take this stuff personally.

So what's a social media junkie to do?

Luckily, there are a few apps to help you out by scheduling automatic posts on friends' birthdays so you'll never miss another one again.

fBirthdays for iPhone

fBirthdays is an iPhone app that connects to your Facebook and lets you schedule custom messages ahead of time to be posted on your friends' birthdays. It tells you how old they're turning, how many days until their birthday, and lets you save messages to use again later.

It also lets you edit the time and content of messages you've already scheduled. You can download fBirthdays for free over on the iTunes App Store.

Birthday Scheduler for Android

The Birthday Scheduler app for Android devices is very similar, just with a few less features. You can schedule birthday posts, see whose is coming up next, and even give gifts right from the app.

You can download it for free over on Google Play, or get the Pro Version ($1.42) that lets you schedule multiple birthdays and includes an editing feature.

Facebook Apps

If you don't have a smartphone, there are a few Facebook apps you can get to schedule birthday messages.

birthdayFB is one of the better ones because, unlike a lot of apps, it doesn't tell your friends that you used it to remember their birthdays. You can choose from a list of greetings or write your own.

Another similar FB app is Happy Birthday Post, which has a huge list of messages to choose from sorted by age, message type (funny, famous quotes), or who it's for. Check out the video to see how it works.

How do you remember your friends' birthdays? Would you use one of these apps (or know of a better one)? Let us know in the comments.
